- April 12
“Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high” (Hebrews 1:2, 3). Faith sets the boundaries for what we receive, not God’s willingness; He is always willing to provide for us. What we believe determines how much of God’s already-available power shows up in our lives.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee” (Proverbs 23:7). Our outward experience consistently aligns with what we believe internally. When we renew our thinking with the truth of God’s Word of grace, our lives begin to reflect who we already are in Christ.

“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:2, 3). The grace and the peace of God increase as we grow in revelation knowledge, not through striving or performance. We live from a finished supply; He has already deposited everything we need for life and godliness in Christ.

“For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding]” (1 Corinthians 14:2, AMPC). Praying in tongues releases Spirit-led communication that bypasses human limitation. When we don’t know what to pray, the Holy Spirit does, and He helps us to pray the perfect prayer.

“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26, NKJV). When we’re stuck in a situation and need help, God meets our human weakness with supernatural intercession. The Holy Spirit partners with us in prayer when our own words fall short.

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 1:20). Praying in the Spirit strengthens our faith from the inside out. Spiritual growth is sustained through ongoing communion with God.
- April 6
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase” (Daniel 12:4, NKJV). God reveals truth progressively according to His timing; increased knowledge accompanies seasons of supernatural unveiling. This specifically applies to us when He’s gradually revealing His plan to us piece by piece.

“Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away” (1 Corinthians 13:8-10, NKJV). Spiritual gifts operate within human limitations, but love endures eternally. God invites us to value maturity and completeness over partial understanding.

“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil” (Matthew 4:1, NKJV). The same Spirit who empowers us also leads us into testing. Spiritual maturity grows when we trust God’s leading even in difficult seasons.

“When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him” (Matthew 3:16, NKJV). The Spirit’s descent affirms divine approval and inaugurates Jesus’ public ministry. Heaven responds to us when our obedience and identity align.

April 30
“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17).
The law served its purpose in its time, but we were never supposed to live under it permanently. It was given to point mankind to Jesus and make him realize His need for a Savior; once Jesus came, the law was no longer necessary.
April 29
“Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth” (2 Timothy 2:15, AMPC).
Only through the proper interpretation of God’s Word can we discern His will under the new covenant of grace. The Old Testament was written for our learning, but the New Testament was written for our living.
April 28
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
God works through us accomplish His will on the earth. Giving our hearts, minds, and lives to Him helps us realize that we’re His hands and feet; this is how He reaches others.
April 27
“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him” (Philippians 2:13, NLT).
The Holy Spirit in us can do amazing things. When we’re doing our own thing with no thought for what God planned for us, He causes us to want to be in His plan.
April 26
“Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God” (1 John 4:15).
As the body of Christ, we make our home in God. We’re a part of Him, and He’s a part of us.
April 25
“For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him” (1 Corinthians 12:14-18).
As the body of Christ, the church has many members, each person blessed with their own unique gifts and talents. Regardless of individual differences, everyone in God’s plan has their own calling.
April 24
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:26, 27).
We live in a backward, patriarchal world, but God’s original plan was equality between men and women. Sin spoiled this; it took Jesus’ coming to restore that balance back to what the Father intended.
April 23
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11, NK JV).
It’s important to discover God’s master plan for our lives. He only wants good things for us, and envisions the best for His children.
April 22
“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
When we got born again, we became God’s children and were moved out of the enemy’s kingdom of darkness into His kingdom of light. We’re now free to live as such in an environment where we no longer fit in.
