“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life” (John 3:16, AMPC).
God wants to enrich our lives and provide us with everything we will ever need, but first He needs our full trust in Him. The kind of trust He’s looking for covers every area of our lives, including our finances.

La palabra está disponible para quien está dispuesto de escuchar en la fe, pero prestando atención a las tradiciones mundanas embota nuestro sentido espiritual para escuchar. Si podemos escapar de ser atrapados por los mensajes contradictorias del mundo, nos beneficiaremos de oír la palabra.

The Word of God is available to anyone willing to listen in faith, but paying attention to worldly traditions dulls our spiritual sense of hearing. If we can escape being ensnared by the world’s contradictory message, we will benefit from hearing the Word.

“And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me” (Matthew 11:6).
Taking offense at what people say or do is based in self-centeredness, which is rooted in pride. Agreeing with God’s Word is a sign of true humility. When we do this, we position ourselves to receive blessings.

“Dichoso el que no tropieza por causa mía” (Mateo 11:6).
Tomando toda ofensa en lo que digan las personas o hagan se basa al egocentrismo, que tiene sus raíces en el orgullo. Estando de acuerdo con la palabra de Dios es señal de verdadera humildad. Cuando hacemos esto, nos posicionamos para recibir las bendiciones.

Las tradiciones a menudo contradicen la palabra de Dios, sin embargo son ampliamente aceptadas como la verdad. Todos debemos decidir por nosotros mismos si caemos en la trampa de lo que el mundo nos dice, obedecer la palabra de Dios.

Worldly traditions often contradict the Word of God, yet they are widely accepted as the truth. We all must decide for ourselves whether we will fall in line with what the world tells us or obey God’s Word.

“For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning” (Hebrews 4:15, AMPC).
We’ve all been tempted to give in to negative emotions from time to time, but asking God for help when we feel weak helps us resist that temptation. Jesus went through the exact same thoughts and feelings we all experience. He had emotions, but emotions never had Him.
